blur are marking 30 years of ‘The Great Escape’ with a new double vinyl edition

blur are set to mark the 30th anniversary of ‘The Great Escape’ with a new double vinyl edition, released on 12th December. Featuring expanded artwork by Tony Hung, the set is pressed on yellow and turquoise vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve.

Disc one presents the 15-track standard album, including the singles ‘Country House’, ‘The Universal’, ‘Stereotypes’, and ‘Charmless Man’. The second disc compiles rare B-sides and bonus tracks from the era, available on vinyl for the first time.

A five-piece capsule of new merchandise is also available to pre-order, comprising ‘Dan Abnormal’ yellow and blue T-shirts, a ‘The Great Escape’ sweatshirt, a ‘Stereotype’ cap, and a ‘Charmless’ necklace.
