Thrice have unveiled their new single ‘Albatross’ from forthcoming album ‘Horizons/West’

Thrice have shared a new single, ‘Albatross’, as they set out the first details of their forthcoming album ‘Horizons/West’, due 3rd October via Epitaph Records.

Arriving with a visualiser directed by Sean Stout (Deafheaven, Touché Amoré, Scowl), ‘Albatross’ follows the recently released ‘Gnash’.

Frontman Dustin Kensrue says, “We can take the very thing the world has offered us as a token of hope and good luck and destroy it, and in that way, I’ve found that we often create our own ill omens. Thankfully, I’ve found it’s not always too late to reverse those same curses.”

‘Horizons/West’ arrives as a companion to 2021’s ‘Horizons/East’,

The tracklisting for ‘Horizons/West’ reads:

‘Blackout’
‘Gnash’
‘Albatross’
‘Undertow’
‘Holding On’
‘Dusk’
‘The Dark Glow’
‘Crooked Shadows’
‘Distant Suns’
‘Vesper Light’
‘Unitive/West’
