PC Music have confirmed the third instalment of their Halloween special, POP CRYPT: NEW YORK VS. LONDON, with two simultaneous events at The Brooklyn Monarch, New York, and Colour Factory, London, on 31st October.
Billed as twin city takeovers, the New York edition carries a ‘London’ theme, while the London party takes on ‘New York’. A statement accompanying the announcement reads, “A portal between two metropolises has opened. Performers have traversed continents, a Buckingham Palace guard marches through Brooklyn, the Statue of Liberty is seen on a Hackney canal.”
Previous POP CRYPT iterations have included performances and sets from A. G. Cook, Dorian Electra, Dux Content (A. G. Cook & Danny L Harle), EASYFUN B2B Finn Keane, Thy Slaughter (with “bandmates” Caroline Polachek and Ellie Rowsell), and Tommy Cash.
The full line-ups are confirmed as follows.
New York (at The Brooklyn Monarch) features PinkPantheress, Hannah Diamond, Cecile Believe, Kane West, Oscar Scheller, DJ Fuck, and THELIMITDOESNOTEXIST.
London (at Colour Factory) includes underscores B2B umru, yeule (DJ), Lipgloss Twins, Peter Talisman (sound system), and chi B2B The Lizard Queen.
