Silver Gore are set to release their debut EP ‘Dogs In Heaven’ on 12th September via Island Records, introducing the project with new single ‘All The Good Men’ and its b‑side ‘Forever’.
The duo – Ava Gore and Ethan P. Flynn – are also confirmed for a run of EU dates supporting Water From Your Eyes, alongside multiple festival appearances, including Green Man today.
“All The Good Men is a feel-good pop song. It’s sassy, it’s empowering,” Silver Gore say of the track. “This song is about men behaving badly and managing to keep going despite them.”
“We set out to make songs based around exactly how we’re feeling in a moment,” Silver Gore explain. “Every decision then grows from that emotion; whether it’s the lyrics or the drum sound. We try to document it exactly how it is in the moment.”
Formed after meeting in 2018, Silver Gore took shape when Ava – a drummer and classical vocalist – joined Ethan’s live band in 2021 before the pair began collaborating under the new moniker. Ethan’s previous credits include work with FKA twigs, Nia Archives and David Byrne.
