Sunflowers have announced their new noise-punk album ‘You Have Fallen… Congratulations!’

Sunflowers have announced their fifth album ‘You Have Fallen… Congratulations!’, set for release through Fuzz Club Records on 7th November.

The Porto noise-punk outfit have shared new single ‘Chameleon Kid’ alongside the announcement, accompanied by a video directed by Carolina Bonzinho. The visual piece explores themes of identity and adaptation through experimental animated visuals.

The eight-track album marks the band’s first release with Fuzz Club Records, developed from a collection of raw demo recordings. “There was a tension and looseness in those early takes that we couldn’t — and didn’t want to — recreate in a ‘proper’ session,” says guitarist and vocalist Carlos de Jesus. “So we followed it, rather than trying to control it.”

Drummer and vocalist Carolina Brandão adds: “We were just reacting to life — to stress, to joy, to absurdity. All of that made it in.”
