Biffy Clyro have dropped new single ‘Hunting Season’ ahead of their ‘Futique’ album

Biffy Clyro have shared their new single ‘Hunting Season’, the latest track to emerge from their upcoming album ‘Futique’, due 26th September.

The track follows recent single ‘A Little Love’, and emerged almost complete from frontman Simon Neil, though its potential wasn’t immediately apparent until drummer Ben Johnston identified it as a favourite.

‘Hunting Season is saying, “I don’t know if I can judge myself through the eyes of someone else,”‘ Neil explains. ‘It’s hard enough to know who you are and what matters to you, but if you’re worrying too much about how other people are seeing you then you don’t stand a chance. I feel like we’re all judged so much by people in the outside world who don’t know anything about us and that can be really scary.’

The track previews ‘Futique’, which was recorded at Berlin’s Hansa Studios with producer Jonathan Gilmore, with additional sessions taking place in Oxford and London.
