VLURE are teasing their debut album ‘Escalate’, set for release on 26th September via Music For Nations, with new single ‘Something Real’, featuring PSweatpants.
The new track showcases the Glasgow band’s industrial and euphoric sound. The single, produced by Conor Goldie and Manni Dee, was written by Niall Goldie, who explains: “‘Something Real’ recalls the best of uk anthemic; marrying industrial production, big beat influences and trademark live energy. It’s striving for meaningful connection in a world that’s becoming increasingly apathetic.”
The band, comprising Hamish Hutcheson on vocals, Alexandra Pearson on vocals and synths, Conor Goldie on programming, production and guitar, Niall Goldie on bass, and Carlo Kriekaard on drums, describe ‘Escalate’ as being “for Glasgow. It’s for you, and your mates. It’s for every mad night and every moment when time stood still. Hold it close. Let it escalate.”
