Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have released their new EP ‘MęĞż øF rÅm’ (Megz of Ram), a four-track collection.
The EP was recorded in the same East Village basement where The Strokes’ ‘Is This It’ was created. Chris Tabron, known for his work with Beyoncé, Die Antwoord, and Battles, helmed the production duties.
The band, comprising Casablancas, guitarist Beardo, guitarist Amir Yaghami, drummer Alex Carapetis, keyboardist Jeff Kite, and bassist Jake Bercovici, made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year, performing their track ‘Blue Demon’.
The group are set to perform across Europe this summer, including an appearance alongside IDLES at Bristol’s Block Party Festival.
