Hayley Williams has released 17 new songs, sort of via a hair dye?

Hayley Williams has shared 17 new solo tracks through her website, with fans able to access the music by entering a code shared when purchasing the ‘Ego’ shade from her Good Dye Young hair dye range.

The collection of songs, which are currently unreleased through traditional platforms, span multiple genres including pop, indie rock, folk and alt-rock. Track titles include ‘Kill Me’, ‘Negative Self Talk’ and ‘Discovery Channel’, with the latter incorporating elements of Bloodhound Gang’s ‘The Bad Touch’.

One of the tracks, ‘Mirtazapine’, received its first public airing on Nashville’s WNXP radio station, before Williams performed it live during a guest appearance at Newport Folk Festival with Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers.

The password-protected website also contains additional content in a ‘Misc.’ folder, featuring merchandise designs, handwritten lyrics, and other multimedia items.

Hayley previously released her debut solo album ‘Petals for Armor’ and ‘Petals for Armor: Self-Serenades’ EP in 2020, followed by ‘FLOWERS for VASES / descansos’ in 2021. Her band Paramore released their latest album ‘This Is Why’ in 2023.
