Lexie Liu has confirmed her new EP ‘Teenage Ramble’, and shared single ‘Like U’

Lexie Liu has announced her new EP ‘TEENAGE RAMBLE’, set for release on 16th October, alongside sharing new single ‘LIKE U’.

The Chinese producer and pop star’s latest track, co-written and co-produced with Trinidad Cardona and LA-based producer Xander Rushie, follows previous singles ‘FFFF’ and ‘POP GIRL’. The new EP draws inspiration from Y2K dance nostalgia and features eclectic sounds influenced by Liu’s childhood.

“It’s natural to catch feelings and fall for someone but feel too shy or scared to open up. Who ever really knows what they’re doing? Beautiful things are always fleeting anyway, and maybe that’s why we try to hold onto those little moments that sparkle for a second but stay with you forever,” Liu says of the new single.

The accompanying music video takes a stripped-back approach, featuring Liu moving through snowy park sets, open-air cinemas, and emotional bike rides, contrasting with her previous vampire-themed video for ‘FFFF’.
