Jamie xx has dropped a new dance anthem, ‘Dream Night’

Jamie xx has unveiled his new single ‘Dream Night’, released via Young.

The track, which has become a staple of his live performances since its debut this summer, emerged from Jamie xx’s extensive touring schedule, including appearances at his own LIDO festival in London, Primavera’s main stage, and several secret sets at Glastonbury.

“Dream Night is a tune I made while touring In Waves this year. I am so lucky to have many wild and beautiful nights playing around the world to wonderful people and this song came about quite naturally, out of all the amazing nights of music and dancing that I get to experience on and off stage. I’m so grateful for it all and I wanted to share that and hopefully create some more dreamy moments with this song. Thank you!” says Jamie xx.

The release follows Jamie xx’s second album ‘In Waves’, which arrived in September 2024 via Young. The record, which debuted at number 5 in the UK albums chart, features collaborations with Honey Dijon, John Glacier, Panda Bear, The Avalanches, Robyn, Oona Doherty, and his The xx bandmates Oliver Sim and Romy.
