Babymorocco has dropped a new video for ‘The Boys & The Girls’

Babymorocco has shared a new video for ‘The Boys & The Girls’, taken from the deluxe version of debut album ‘Amour: The Jean Paul Deluxe’, out now via True Panther Records.

The self-directed video draws inspiration from the Garden of Eden, featuring Babymorocco in a love triangle scenario. “The Boys and The Girls’ came together quickly,” he explains. “Velvette Blue sent over this beat that felt pure genius electro, and the lyrics just followed naturally. My life has always been led by my sexuality and also the concept of original sin. I wanted to play around with this idea of religious iconography within a pop song, there’s no specific sexuality mentioned as the song is about the confusion of where you go or who youll end up being with.”

Speaking about the video’s concept, Babymorocco adds: “I directed and edited the video myself. The concept started as a loose retelling of Adam and Eve, but it grew into something more symbolic. I wanted to play with the idea of temptation not in a moral sense, but in terms of power, curiosity, and intimacy. In the video, I’m kind of both the snake and the question itself. It asks: who has the power here? Who gives in first the boy or the girl? Or does it even matter at all.”

‘Amour: The Jean Paul Deluxe’ features four additional tracks alongside the original album, which was executive produced by Frost Children.
