MCBAISE has teamed up with Muthi for a psychedelic new single, ‘Cold Cuts’

MCBAISE has released a new single, ‘Cold Cuts’, featuring Muthi, via Dirty Melody Records.

The track marks the third single from MCBAISE’s forthcoming album, which will arrive later this year, and follows MCBAISE’s previous single ‘Alice’. The new track arrives alongside a self-directed music video, marking MCBAISE’s first visual release since 2021’s ‘Water Slide’.

“Cold Cuts bottles the electric joy of being in a supermarket in the ’90s, and finally getting your hands on that Sonic & Knuckles Mega Drive cartridge — the one with the slot on top for stacking another game,” MCBAISE explains. “It’s a little capsule of elation and excitement, contrasting the jagged saccade of the guitar and bass riff with the shimmering velvet of the synth. Night and day, you could say.”

The new album will serve as the follow-up to MCBAISE’s 2021 record ‘Tubes’. Originally from Cannes, Bessudo has established himself as an illustrator and director alongside his musical output, with previous tracks including ‘Ugo’, ‘Water Slide’, and ‘She’s a Big Boy’.
