Georgia is back with her first new single in two years, ‘Wanna Play’

Georgia has returned with new single ‘Wanna Play’, marking her first release in nearly two years.

The track, written and produced by Georgia alongside long-time collaborator Mark Ralph (Years & Years, Daniel Avery, Hot Chip), follows her Mercury Prize-shortlisted album ‘Seeking Thrills’.

“I wrote this song at a complete crossroads in my life, which is why I stuck with the 160bpm! It’s a fast tempo punk-electro song, inspired by early Knife songs & 80’s Depeche Mode bass-lines. It’s a bit of fun really, I wanted to explore my love for synths again!” Georgia explains.

Georgia has recently been involved with Richard Russell’s Everything Is Recorded project, participating in live presentations and featuring on their latest album ‘Solstice Equinox’. She is set to showcase her new live set at an intimate event at London’s AnotherLand, accompanied by guest DJs.
