BTS are set to release their first-ever live album ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE’ on 18th July, alongside a digital code release ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL’.
The live album captures performances from the group’s ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ tour series, which began in October 2021 with an online concert before expanding to encompass 12 shows across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The tour connected with over 4 million attendees through in-person concerts, LIVE PLAY events, and virtual live streams.
The 22-track collection features live versions of the group’s hits including ‘Dynamite’, ‘Butter’, ‘Life Goes On’, ‘Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)’, and ‘ON’. These recordings mark the first official live versions of many tracks from the stadium tour.
Accompanying the album release, ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL’ offers fans a 141-minute digital code featuring video content from the final show of their three-day Olympic Stadium concerts in Seoul from March 2022. The package includes a 92-page interview photobook with behind-the-scenes content. The digital code, presented in card format, can be redeemed on the Weverse platform to access high-definition video content through the app or website.
The release follows BTS’ recent full group reunion after all seven members completed their military service. Pre-orders for the album begin on 1st July through online and offline retailers.
