Lewis Capaldi has returned with his first new single in two years, ‘Survive’, released via Capitol Records.
The track addresses Capaldi’s experiences following his appearance at Glastonbury 2023, where the Pyramid Stage crowd supported him through an emotional performance. The song explores themes of mental health, self-doubt and resilience.
‘Survive’ sees Capaldi collaborate with RØMANS, who previously co-wrote ‘Someone You Loved’. The new single arrives following a series of Scottish warm-up shows in May, where Capaldi performed as a guest of mental health charity CALM during Mental Health Awareness Week.
The release follows Capaldi’s second UK Number 1 album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’, and his Netflix documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’.
