English Teacher have been announced as the second headliner for Rockaway Beach 2026, joining the indoor festival at Butlin’s Bognor Regis from 2nd-4th January.
The current Mercury Prize winners are set to perform alongside previously announced acts including Public Image Ltd, Dry Cleaning, and Idlewild at the three-day event. Low Harness, Whitelands, and Mandrake Handshake have also been added to the line-up, which already features Antony Szmierek, The Moonlandingz, Inspiral Carpets, and Insecure Men.
The festival will utilise Studio 36, a recently launched stage featuring enhanced sound and visual capabilities. Despite the venue upgrade, organisers confirm the event will maintain its intimate capacity of 3,600 attendees.
Beyond the musical performances, Rockaway Beach will feature a programme of additional activities including Dom & John’s Closing Party, a takeover from Hilary Skank, and the return of the Bowie Bash. The festival will also host its own New Year’s celebration on 3rd January.
The weekend includes access to artist Q&As, guest DJs, record signings, a record fair, late-night takeovers, silent discos, and pub quizzes. Festival-goers will also have access to the Butlin’s facilities, including arcade games, bowling, an indoor swimming complex, and spa.
