Biffy Clyro have announced their new album ‘Futique’, coming this September

Biffy Clyro have announced their new album ‘Futique’, set for release on 26th September.

The Scottish trio’s latest offering follows their recent single ‘A Little Love’, which topped the UK’s Official Vinyl Singles Chart after premiering as Radio 1’s Hottest Record and receiving its live debut at Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Frontman Simon Neil explains the concept behind the album title: “‘Futique’ is an exploration of ideas, objects or relationships that exist across time – we are never aware when we do anything for the last time and there’s a beauty and sadness within that. What will be your ‘Futique’?”

The album’s themes were inspired by Neil’s reflections on how digital technology has transformed our relationship with memories, particularly during his time touring with Empire State Bastard in 2023. The record explores the band’s journey from playing Nirvana covers as teenagers to headlining major festivals like Reading and Download.
