Gilla Band have re-issued their debut EP ‘The Early Years’, alongside announcing a new Irish tour for October.
The collection, which features out-of-print 7″ singles and covers originally released via Any Other City Records and The Quarter Inch Collective before appearing on Rough Trade Records in 2015, includes a remastered version of ‘The Cha Cha Cha’. The re-release features new artwork based on the original colour blocks.
Among the tracks is an eight-minute cover of Blawan’s ‘Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage’, alongside ‘Lawman’, ‘De Bom Bom’, ‘I Love You’, and ‘The Cha Cha Cha’. The 12″ vinyl is available now via the band’s webstore and record shops.
