Man/Woman/Chainsaw are going to headline the first SON Estrella Galicia show at Sebright Arms

SON Estrella Galicia have announced their first event at East London’s Sebright Arms, set to take place on 26th June with Man/Woman/Chainsaw headlining and support from AtticOmatic.

The event marks the latest expansion of the Spanish beer brand’s musical arm in East London, following their partnership with Oslo, Hackney in May featuring Big Special. The evening will also feature one of SON Estrella Galicia’s beer culture workshops, introducing audiences to Spanish nightlife culture.

Man/Woman/Chainsaw recently released their new single ‘MadDog’, released as part of a limited edition 7″ via So Young Records. The London-based six-piece recorded the track with producers Seth Evans and Margo Broom at RAK Studios. It arrived as the second half of a double A-side release, following previous single ‘Adam & Steve’.

Speaking about the new track, Vera Leppänen explains: “Mad Dog talks about losing a friend and watching them become everything you thought they wouldn’t. We wrote the song as two parts, the pissed off bit and the sad/nostalgic bit, and recorded it with a quick turnaround which was fairly new to us.”

SON Estrella Galicia are also set to present their second Soundhood event across various Hackney venues, including Oslo, on 27th September.
