Still Blank have dropped their Jane Birkin-inspired debut single ‘What About Jane’

Still Blank have released their debut single ‘What About Jane’, marking their first release as signees to the recently relaunched National Anthem label via Capitol Records.

The transatlantic duo, comprising Jordy from Kaua’i, Hawaii, and Ben from Macclesfield, UK, met in the UK, developing from casual jam sessions in a Liverpool basement to studio sessions influenced by walks through rural Wales.

“She portrayed this image of effortless, iconic cool,” Jordy says of Jane Birkin, who inspired the track. “But it made us think—who was she really, behind it all? That idea led to a conversation about who we are beneath what people expect us to be. That’s where the song came from.”
