Madonna has announced her new ‘Ray of Light’ remix album ‘Veronica Electronica’, featuring unreleased tracks

Madonna has announced ‘Veronica Electronica’, a collection of rare and unreleased remixes from her ‘Ray of Light’ era, set for release on 25th July.

The eight-track project, which was originally conceived as a remix album in 1998 but never materialised, features newly edited versions of club remixes by Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone. The collection also includes the previously unreleased original demo of ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’, produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels.

‘Veronica Electronica’ will be available on silver vinyl and digital formats, with vinyl orders from Madonna.com and Rhino.com including an exclusive silver mylar lithograph. The project forms part of Madonna’s Silver Collection, her ongoing series of limited-edition silver vinyl reissues.

The collection’s lead track, ‘Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)’, has been released today. ‘Ray of Light’, released in 1998, went on to sell over 16 million copies worldwide and earned Madonna four Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Album.
