The Beaches have shared their new single ‘Did I Say Too Much’ along with a bunch of tour dates

The Beaches have shared new single ‘Did I Say Too Much’, taken from their upcoming third album ‘No Hard Feelings’.

The track, which was selected as Jack Saunders’ Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, explores the complexities of relationships. “It’s a song about how tough it can be to navigate queer heartbreak,” the band explain. “There are so many layers, the pressure to stay friends with your ex, the complications of open relationships, dating girls who have boyfriends. It touches on what it’s like to come out later in life, and how overwhelming it can all feel. This song, specifically, is about stepping into an open relationship with no expectations, only to fall hard. It’s about the intensity of sharing your deepest feelings, knowing it’s not built to last, and the heartbreak of realizing you might’ve said too much.”

‘No Hard Feelings’, set for release on 29th August via AWAL, spans eleven tracks including previous singles ‘Last Girls at the Party’ and ‘Jocelyn’.

The Canadian alt-rock outfit will support the release with an extensive North American tour, following appearances at several summer festivals including The Governors Ball, Osheaga, Sziget, and Pukkelpop.
