Miley Cyrus has released a new trailer ahead of the theatrical release of her ‘Something Beautiful’ film and album

Miley Cyrus has shared a new trailer for ‘Something Beautiful’, a new cinematic experience set to screen in theatres for one night only across North America and internationally this summer.

The film, described as a pop opera, features thirteen original songs from Cyrus’ ninth studio album of the same name. The theatrical presentation has been exclusively mixed by Alan Meyerson, known for his work on ‘Dune Part One’ and ‘The Dark Knight’.

‘Something Beautiful’ is directed by Cyrus alongside Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, with cinematography from Benoît Debie. The project is produced by Cyrus, XYZ Films, and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records, and Live Nation.

“Something Beautiful is my dream project come true—fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony. My co-creators are all geniuses in their own right: from the masters of sound, Shawn Everett and Alan Meyerson, to one of cinema’s most unique directors, Panos Cosmatos serving as a producer. Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality,” says Cyrus.

The film will premiere at Tribeca Festival on 6th June, followed by screenings across North America on 12th June and international cinemas on 27th June. The accompanying album, executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, is scheduled for release on 30th May via Columbia Records.
