James Marriott is set to headline Dork’s Night Out at Colours Hoxton this June – here’s how you can get tickets

Let’s be real: this is one of those shows. The kind that gets talked about for ‘quite a while’ afterwards. The kind where you get to say, “Yeah, I was there,” and people go “Oh, yeah? Cool” awkwardly, while you grin like a cheshire cat.

On Tuesday 17th June, we’re teaming up with former cover star and long-time Dork Friend of the Magazine James Marriott for a headline show at Colours Hoxton — and it’s shaping up to be a night to remember. The intimate East London venue will host a never-to-be-repeated celebration of James’ brand new album ‘Don’t Tell The Dog’, out just a few days earlier on 13th June, with special guests still to be announced and all the usual Dork-approved nonsense to go with it.

It’s a rare chance to catch James up close before he either explodes into musical superstardom or sells so much iced coffee he doesn’t have to bother with us anymore. Indeed, it could well be your last shot at seeing him in a room this small. Consider this a thank you to the fans who’ve been there from the start. We’re calling it now: it’s going to be loud, sweaty, emotional, and absolutely brilliant.

James has gone from strength to strength in recent years – both in the studio and on the road. ‘Don’t Tell The Dog’ promises a bold new chapter, blending raw honesty with polished hooks in a way that feels bigger, brighter and more assured than ever. And what better way to kick off that era than with a one-night-only show at a venue where you can see the sweat on his brow. If you’re into that kind of thing. You do you.

Now, onto the ticket stuff — and listen closely, because it’s important.

Fans who have pre-ordered James’ new album ‘Don’t Tell The Dog’ from jamesmarriottmusic.com by 5pm on Wednesday 21st May will receive a special email link with exclusive first access to tickets at 12pm on Thursday 22nd May. Please note that pre-ordering the album does not guarantee access to the show, with tickets available on a first come first serve basis. Any remaining General Sale Tickets will then go on-sale at 12pm on Friday 23rd May. To pre-order the album, head to: jamesmarriottmusic.com

Tickets are £17.50 + booking fee, doors open at 7:30pm, and the show is 14+.

Whether you’ve been with James since the very first upload or you’re just now jumping aboard, this is your chance to be part of a landmark moment in what’s already shaping up to be a huge year. With more surprises still to come — and a stacked summer of Dork 100 chaos ahead — this show is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

We’ll see you down the front. Don’t tell the dog.
