Miley Cyrus has announced a theatrical release for her Something Beautiful visual film

Miley Cyrus is set to release a new cinematic experience titled ‘Something Beautiful’, screening for one night only across North America and international cinemas this summer, alongside her ninth studio album of the same name.

The film, which combines original music with visual storytelling, features thirteen new tracks and has been exclusively mixed for theatrical release by Alan Meyerson. The project sees Cyrus collaborate with director Panos Cosmatos as producer, alongside directors Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, with cinematography from Benoît Debie.

“Something Beautiful is my dream project come true – fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony. My co-creators are all geniuses in their own right: from the masters of sound, Shawn Everett and Alan Meyerson, to one of cinema’s most unique directors, Panos Cosmatos serving as a producer. Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality,” Cyrus explains.

The film will premiere at Tribeca Festival on 6th June before its theatrical release. North American screenings will take place on 12th June, followed by international screenings on 27th June. The accompanying album, executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, arrives on 30th May via Columbia Records.
