Everything Everything are set to release a 10th anniversary edition of their album ‘Get To Heaven’ on 4th July, alongside an accompanying tour later this year.
The expanded reissue of the fan favourite album will be available in multiple formats, including yellow/orange double-vinyl and CD packages. The release features the original album, which includes tracks such as ‘Distant Past’, ‘No Reptiles’, ‘Spring / Sun / Winter / Dread’ and ‘Regret’, alongside bonus tracks, b-sides and demos. This marks the first vinyl pressing of ‘Get To Heaven’ since its initial 2015 release.
“In the ten years since Get To Heaven was released it feels more relevant than ever as we see megalomaniacs, narcissists and zealots extend their power and influence on the world stage,” the band say. “It was a tough record to make at the time and we’ve felt a deep connection to it ever since. The record has a life of its own which will continue regardless of what we do but we’re pleased and humbled to have a chance to swim in the vivid yet murky waters of Get To Heaven again.”
