Introducing Dork 100, our month long 100th issue celebration featuring Sports Team, Antony Szmierek, Black Honey, Divorce, Courting, piri & tommy, Lime Garden and more

This summer, Dork is turning 100. With a century of issues in sight, we’re throwing the centrepiece of a year long party of pop nonsense – Dork 100.

A month-long festival packed with shows, festival stages, and events, we’ve gathered a bunch of Friends of the Magazine to raise a glass to our milestone 100th issue. It’s going to be something quite special indeed.

We kick off on Thursday, 10th July at regular haunt Colours Hoxton with the mighty piri & tommy for a pop party for the ages. The chaos continues a day later at the Sebright Arms with our favourite troublemakers Courting, playing their debut album ‘Guitar Music’ in full, plus all ‘the hits’.

After a weekend to recover, we head to the aptly named 100 Club for an incredible five-night series featuring five former Dork cover stars. First up, on Tuesday, 15th July, are Black Honey, who’ve had a special place in our hearts since day one. Wednesday sees us welcome Divorce, fresh off a debut album that’s still on heavy rotation. Thursday, 17th July, brings a VERY (very, very) special secret headliner — we can’t reveal who just yet — but trust us, they’ve graced multiple Dork covers, regularly fill arenas, and absolutely shouldn’t be playing a venue this intimate. On Friday, we welcome our long-term pals Sports Team, dusting off their debut EP ‘Winter Nets’ and all the greatest hits for an unforgettable evening. Wrapping up the week, Saturday sees the brilliant Antony Szmierek, fresh from delivering one of our albums of the year.

And we’re not stopping there.

The following Monday (21st July), our beloved podcast-meets-radio show Down With Boring hits the Sebright Arms for Dork’s Big Pub Quiz — a perfect warm-up before Lime Garden takes the same stage just 24 hours later. On Saturday, 26th July, we’re moving the entire shebang to Truck Festival for an all-day takeover of The Nest, featuring Courting, Luvcat, jasmine.4.t, Brògeal, The Pill, Basht, and more.

Then, to close things out in style, our annual all-day fest Dork’s Day Out returns on 2nd August at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road, with a line-up we’ll begin unveiling Very Soon Indeed. After that, we’ll all probably all need a good lie down.

So that’s your Dork summer sorted, but how do you go about being there? Tickets for these incredible never-to-be-repeated shows are on sale from TOMORROW (Thursday 1st May) at 10am. Just head to the links below to snap up your spot at each night while you can. We’ll be revealing more surprises, new names and much more over the coming weeks too. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
