The Pale White have shared a new music video for their latest single ‘Final Exit’, taken from their recently released second album ‘The Big Sad’.
The Newcastle trio’s new video, directed by Meg Jepson, showcases their hometown through scenes of everyday life. Following frontman Adam Hope through the city streets, it captures local residents in their daily routines, from working in cafes to participating in roller skating clubs.
“Final Exit is an important song on this record. We didn’t hold back making it sound as magnificent as possible, so we knew creating the video to match would be a challenge,” Hope explains. “But when our long-time visual collaborators ‘Blood Films’ recommended Portraiture Artist Meg Jepson to take the reins, we knew we’d be in safe hands. We were immediately drawn to the authenticity of her past work on the streets of Newcastle, which captured the city and characters in a way you’d only truly know if you live here. And in her music video directing debut, she did just that.”
