Master Peace has released a new single titled ‘No More Underground’, addressing the challenges faced by grassroots music venues.
The track, which marks Peace’s first release since his EP ‘How To Make A(nuva) Master Peace’, is exclusively available as a free download from his website rather than on streaming platforms. The release coincides with a headline show at The Windmill on 24th April.
“‘There’s no more underground’ is about how normal people like us have been pushed and priced out of doing anything… so I thought I wanted to release it in a way that even if you didn’t have streaming or internet or whatever you could download it and keep it and listen to it, no matter what,” Peace explains. “To everyone who has been on this journey with me, spending your hard earned doe on gigs and tickets and travel and everything… this one’s for you cos with you the underground venues, artists and music would be dead without you.”
The track will appear on Peace’s upcoming project later this year; visit masterpeaceofficial.com to find the download.
