The Beta Band are set to reissue their classic compilation ‘The Three E.P.’s’ on double vinyl via Because Music on 11th July 2025, alongside announcing extensive UK and North American tour dates.
The reissue will feature the band’s first three EP releases – ‘Champion Versions’, ‘The Patty Patty Sound’, and ‘Los Amigos del Beta Bandidos’ – originally released as a collection in September 1998 on Regal. The new pressing will be available on two 180g heavyweight black vinyl records, complete with inner sleeves featuring the original EP artwork.
The upcoming tour marks the first time the classic lineup of Steve Mason (guitar/vocals), Richard Greentree (bass), John Maclean (samples/keyboard), and Robin Jones (drums) have performed together since their split following a show at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room on 4th December 2004.
The Beta Band formed in 1996 and released three studio albums during their career: ‘The Beta Band’ (1999), ‘Hot Shots II’ (2001), and ‘Heroes To Zeroes’ (2004).
