Manchester duo Super Market have announced their debut EP ‘Shopping List’ with new single ‘Ice Cream’

Manchester duo Super Market have announced their debut EP ‘Shopping List’, set for release via Heist or Hit on 2nd May.

The pair have shared new single ‘Ice Cream’, which features jazz-influenced chords and psychedelic vocal effects, ahead of the six-track collection. Speaking about the new track, the duo say: “Take your hands off the keyboard and grab yourself a spoon: Ice Cream is here to soothe your overworked soul with soft-serve synths and sickly-sweet nostalgia, as the lyrics, more British than Mr. Whippy, hit you with waves of longing.”

Josh Super and Jack Market formed the band after meeting at a business conference in the North-West, developing their distinctive office-core aesthetic inspired by business school principles. The EP features tracks including ‘Cereal’, ‘Instant Coffee’, ‘Bread’, ‘Sangria’, ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Cigarettes (Nicotine)’.
