Current Dork cover star Self Esteem has debuted material from her forthcoming album ‘A Complicated Woman’ during the opening night of a theatrical presentation at London’s Duke Of York’s Theatre.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor performed all 12 tracks from the new record, including previously aired track ‘Mother’, alongside a selection of songs from her back catalogue. The show, which marks the first of five performances, was split into four acts – Exorcism, Stamina, Men (Messy) and Balance.
“Thank you so much for coming last night luvs,” Taylor wrote on Instagram following the performance. “Real dream come true stuff for baby Becky. We go again 7:30 tonight who’s in?”

The theatrical production, created by Taylor alongside Tony award-winning designer Tom Scutt, features choreography by Stuart Rogers and musical direction from Mike Park.
