Lana Del Rey has released ‘Bluebird’, the second single from her upcoming tenth studio album.
Following the release of ‘Henry, Come On’, ‘Bluebird’ sees Del Rey collaborating with Luke Laird as co-writer, while Drew Erickson handles production duties. The track combines acoustic guitars and orchestral arrangements with Del Rey’s signature reverb-heavy vocals.
The forthcoming album’s details remain in flux, with Del Rey recently addressing its status. “You know it’s not going to come on time, right?” she explained on 11th April. “Should I even tell you that the name changed again? Should I tell you that now, while you’re so happy that you even have a song? Yeah, maybe I’ll wait.”
The album was initially announced under the title ‘Lasso’ in early 2024, before being renamed to ‘The Right Person Will Stay’. This follows a pattern for Del Rey, whose recent albums ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’, ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’, and ‘Blue Banisters’ all experienced similar delays.
