Jungle members Lydia Kitto and J Lloyd have announced their new project, Loaded Honey, alongside the release of their debut single ‘Don’t Speak’.
The duo’s creative partnership began during the making of Jungle’s albums ‘Volcano’ and ‘Loving In Stereo’, where they found themselves generating musical ideas that extended beyond their main band’s scope. These more intimate compositions have now found their home under the Loaded Honey banner.
The project’s first single, ‘Don’t Speak’, has received its premiere as Jack Saunders’ Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1. Accompanying the track is a music video directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido, forming part of a series of 11 one-shot character pieces that chronicle recent years of personal experience.
The video marks the second instalment in this visual series, which has been crafted to complement the musical narrative. Each piece serves as a standalone chapter in their ongoing story, with the collection designed to reflect themes of life, love, and change over the past three years.
