London band child3 have dropped their industrial debut single ‘Give It To Me Now’

child3 have shared their debut single ‘Give It To Me Now’ via Permanent Creeps.

The London-based four-piece, comprising Zaki Poole, Jack McCarthy, Rhys Andrews and Eddie Nicola, have been building their reputation as a live act across the capital’s independent venues, including The George Tavern, The Windmill and The Shacklewell Arms, previously performing under the names Chad and Child.

Working from their North-East London warehouse base, the band’s first release arrives accompanied by a video directed by Isaac Fisher and Plastekpet, featuring glitch-affected found footage set against motorik rhythms.

“[‘Give It To Me Now’ is] a yearning for something better. And a reminder to myself that the need to be appreciated can inspire the worst of people’s actions,” explains frontman Zaki Poole.

Guitarist Eddie Nicola adds: “The lyrical content of our songs often seeks to invoke a specific emotion or incident and convey that feeling in a way that feels like somewhat of an expulsion. Whenever I turn and see Zaki to my left when we are performing these songs live I am always met with the doubtlessness that there isn’t a single fibre of his being poured into the retelling of these events.”

Their dates in full read:
