Dinosaur Pile-Up have announced their new album ‘I’ve Felt Better’ and some UK tour dates

Dinosaur Pile-Up have announced their fifth studio album ‘I’ve Felt Better’, set for release on 22nd August via Mascot Records, alongside a new single ‘My Way’.

The album marks the band’s first release in six years and arrives following a period of significant personal challenges for frontman Matt Bigland, who faced serious health issues during the band’s time away from the spotlight.

“I wrote ‘My Way’ because I’m gonna do what I want, how I want, my way,” Bigland explains. “I made peace with the fact that I’m never going to be recognised as ‘cool’, and that I will never be in the ‘what’s hot’ of the rock scene, and that my talents as a songwriter will seemingly never be worthy of mainstream acclaim. As a younger artist, that still held some weight or value in my mind. But that’s OK. I will do my thing my way because I dig what I do.”

The new album comprises twelve tracks and follows 2019’s ‘Celebrity Mansions’, which saw the band achieve success with their US Top 5 Rock Radio hit ‘Back Foot’.

Speaking about returning to touring, Bigland says, “After an extended break away from touring we just can’t wait to get back out on the road and play the new songs live. We’re really stoked on this record and can’t wait to see the fans again!”
