about nucleo
Nucleo, a title evoking the notion of the nuclear family, is a visual odyssey tracing Wouter Van de Voorde’s own family from the birth of his son, Felix, to recent twilight moments near their home. A central theme of isolation runs through the work: the family appears self-sufficient, with their story unfolding through shared moments in the Australian bush.
