Sum 41 have performed their final live show, taking to the stage at Vancouver’s Juno Awards on 30th March.
The band delivered a medley of songs spanning their career, including ‘Landmines’ from their latest double album ‘Heaven :x: Hell’, alongside classics ‘Fat Lip’, ‘Still Waiting’, and ‘In Too Deep’.
During the ceremony, Sum 41 were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, with Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden presenting the award. Accepting the honour, frontman Deryck Whibley addressed the audience, saying, “Thank you to our families for all the love and support throughout the years and, of course, thank you to all the Sum 41 fans for sticking with us through all the ups and all the downs.”
Whibley added, “All the struggles had made all the successes feel that much greater. We’re proud of this journey, it’s been exciting, it’s been dangerous, but most of all, it’s been honest.”
The performance marks the conclusion of Sum 41’s farewell tour, which was announced in May 2023. Their final UK performance took place at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on 2nd November 2024.
