Miley Cyrus has announced details of a visual film to accompany her ninth studio album ‘Something Beautiful’.
The new record, which features 13 original tracks, has been executive produced by Cyrus alongside Shawn Everett, known for his work with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes.
The accompanying visual film, directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, will arrive in cinemas this June. The film features Cyrus wearing designs from Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen across various Los Angeles locations, including a film lot and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Speaking about the new album, Cyrus explained: “My idea was making ‘The Wall’, but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture.” She described the project as “hypnotising and glamorous,” adding: “It’s a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music.”
The record follows 2023’s ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, with ‘Something Beautiful’ marking Cyrus’ first full-length release of 2025.
