Wet Leg performed seven new songs during an intimate comeback show at Brighton’s Green Door Store last night (23rd March).
The Isle of Wight duo initially announced the performance under the pseudonym Uma Thurman, later confirming their involvement via social media. During the show, the band wore black wigs reminiscent of Thurman’s character in Pulp Fiction as they delivered an 11-song set.
The performance marked Wet Leg’s first new material since their self-titled debut album in 2022, which earned them two Grammy Awards for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance, alongside a BRIT Award for Best British Group in 2023.
The band have also announced two upcoming shows in the United States, posting on social media: “Hey there neighbor been a while hasn’t it? why dont u come on down to the bottom of our garden? its about time we had ourselves a little gathering…just a couple of special nights in NYC US and LA US.”
