BTS’ j-hope has released a new solo single ‘MONA LISA’, accompanied by a music video.
The hip-hop/R&B track, which follows his recent single ‘Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)’ released earlier this month, celebrates individuality and unique beauty. The song’s title draws inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic painting.
j-hope contributed to the track’s production, working alongside Blake Slatkin, whose previous collaborations include Charlie Puth, Sam Smith, and Lizzo. The song combines hip-hop and R&B elements with melodic choruses and danceable grooves.
The track received its live debut during j-hope’s ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE in North America’ tour at Barclays Center on 13th and 14th March. The accompanying music video features j-hope performing in an art museum setting.
