MOULD are haunted by the ghost of a killer bird on their new single ‘FRANCES’

Bristol’s MOULD have shared new single ‘FRANCES’, the third preview of their upcoming EP ‘Almost Feels Like Purpose’.

The track arrives ahead of the EP’s release via 5dB Records, which was recorded at Bristol’s Humm Studios during summer 2024. The new collection follows previous singles ‘CHUNKS’ and ‘SNAILS’.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Joe Sherrin says: “‘FRANCES’ is a song about being haunted by the ironic ghost of a killer bird called Frances. It’s quite difficult for me to talk about”.

The three-piece, comprising Sherrin (vocals, guitar), Kane Eagle (vocals, bass), and James Luxton (drums), recently performed at New York’s New Colossus Festival and are set to appear at The Great Escape Festival in May.

Their dates in full read:

APRIL
12 Outer Town Festival, Bristol, UK

MAY
15 The Great Escape, Brighton, UK
23 Sniester Festival, Den Haag, NL
