green star have announced their debut EP ‘bleeding swirls’, set for release on 2nd May via GSR Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have shared new single ‘four-o-five’.
“Four-o-five is flooded with energy revelatory imagery and raucous guitars, and there is a noisy power struggle between facing your wrongdoings and celebrating your emergent freedom,” green star explain.
The EP will include the band’s 2024 debut single ‘blades of steel’ and follow-up ‘replication’, alongside four additional tracks: ‘falter’,’four-o-five’, ‘what’s true’, and ‘spiders without eyes’.
The London-based trio, comprising Lilah Bobak from Los Angeles, Pedro Soler from Mallorca, and Alberto De Torre from Madrid, formed through the city’s warehouse scene, drawing inspiration from Sonic Youth, Swirlies, and Yo La Tengo.
