Ezra Furman has shared new single ‘Jump Out’, taken from her upcoming album ‘Goodbye Small Head’.
The track arrives as the second preview of Furman’s tenth studio album, following lead single ‘Grand Mal’. The new record is set for release via Bella Union.
“‘Jump Out’ is a panicked rocker for that moment when you realize you are going to have to leap from a moving vehicle because the driver has no intention of letting you out,” Furman explains.
The album was recorded in Chicago with producer Brian Deck, who previously worked with Furman on her earliest records with The Harpoons. The twelve-track collection features orchestral elements across eight songs, incorporating string sections and samples into the band’s established sound.
