Florence Road are breaking out with their debut single ‘Heavy’

Really very brilliant new band Florence Road have released their equally very brilliant debut single ‘Heavy’, alongside a live performance video filmed in Ireland (which is… yes, you’ve got it by now – Ed).

Ther band features four childhood friends from Wicklow, Ireland: Lily Aron (Vocals), Emma Brandon (Guitar), Ailbhe Barry (Bass), and Hannah Kelly (Drums). The quartet developed their sound in Aron’s garden shed during their teenage years, drawing influence from certified legends including The Cranberries, Fleetwood Mac, Wolf Alice, and Phoebe Bridgers.

The track, produced by John Hill, was written during the band’s first trip to Los Angeles, emerging from a challenging period for lead vocalist Lily Aron. The live performance video accompanying ‘Heavy’ was directed by Owen Kasparian. You can check it all out below. Honestly – Really. Very. Brilliant.
