Sugababes have released their new single ‘Jungle’, marking their first new material since reuniting in 2019.
The track, released via their own label and distributed by The Orchard, combines elements of 2-step, garage and alt-pop alongside the group’s signature vocal harmonies. The single sees the group working with Grammy-winning producer Jon Shave, alongside songwriters Anya Jones and Wayne Hector.
“We are so excited to release ‘Jungle’ and cement this new chapter for us, after what has been an incredible 3 years on the road,” Sugababes say. “As soon as it was written, it felt like the perfect thing for people to hear first. A song about escaping the 9-5 grind, we hope everyone can let their inner animal out when they hear this!”
The original lineup have been performing extensively since their reunion, including appearances at Glastonbury Festival and various European festivals. The group are now preparing for their largest arena headline tour to date.
