Chloe Moriondo has released a video for her dance-pop single ‘abyss’

Chloe Moriondo has shared a video for new single ‘abyss’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘oyster’.

The track sees Moriondo exploring themes of freedom and emotional release. “‘abyss’ is a song about reckless abandon, kissing strangers, hearing the call of the void and answering. I wrote it when I was tired of thinking, of processing feelings, and just wanted to party,” they explain.

The single follows February’s ‘hate it’ and January’s ‘shoreline’, the latter co-written and produced by Chloe Kraemer. The forthcoming album ‘oyster’ features collaborations with producers and writers including Jonah Summerfield, AfterHrs, and others.

Moriondo will mark the album’s arrival with two New York events – a conversation and performance at 92Y Buttenwieser Hall on 25th March, followed by a signing and performance at Rough Trade on 28th March.
