Chloe Moriondo has shared a new song about freedom, ‘abyss’

Chloe Moriondo has shared new single ‘abyss’ ahead of their forthcoming album ‘oyster’, set for release on 28th March via Public Consumption / Atlantic Music Group.

The track sees Moriondo exploring themes of freedom and emotional release, with the new single following February’s ‘hate it’ and January’s ‘shoreline’, both of which appear on the upcoming 13-track album.

“‘abyss’ is a song about reckless abandon, kissing strangers, hearing the call of the void and answering. I wrote it when I was tired of thinking, of processing feelings, and just wanted to party,” Moriondo explains.

‘oyster’ was created alongside collaborators including Jonah Summerfield, Chloe Kraemer, and AfterHrs. The album will be supported by several release events in New York, including a conversation and performance at 92Y Buttenwieser Hall and a signing at Rough Trade.
