Little Simz has announced her sixth studio album ‘Lotus’, set for release on 9th May via AWAL Recordings.
Alongside the announcement, she has shared new single ‘Flood’, featuring collaborations with Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly.
The album’s title represents themes of renewal and growth, exploring various phases of life throughout its runtime. The release follows her Mercury Prize-winning album ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’, which reached the Top 5 of the UK Official Albums Chart, and 2022’s ‘NO THANK YOU’.
Simz has also been announced as curator of the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival, marking the event’s 30th edition. The 11-day festival will run from 12th-22nd June, with Simz joining a prestigious list of previous curators who have overseen the annual event.
